This is the Gelsenkirchen trio at peak aggression, sitting somewhere between the raw blackened speed of Obsessed by Cruelty and the more battle-hardened tank metal they'd lean into later. Tom Angelripper's vocals sit like gravel in a cement mixer, the riffs are tight and mean, and the whole record has that early-90s Teutonic thrash production that still hits harder than most modern metal. A foundational piece for anyone serious about the dark aesthetic of extreme metal, and a record that holds its own against anything Kreator or Destruction were doing at the same time.
