This self-titled debut from San Jose's Socioclast lands somewhere in that furious overlap between grindcore and fastcore where songs are measured in seconds, not minutes, and every single one of them is trying to take your head off. It's ugly, precise, and completely uninterested in your comfort. Clear with splatter vinyl because of course it is, the format matching the chaos inside. If your idea of alternative fashion extends to a record collection that makes guests uncomfortable at dinner parties, this belongs in the pile.
