SLAYER Penteagle Tee

There are bands that influenced thrash metal, and then there is Slayer, who basically handed everyone else the rulebook and then set it on fire in front of them.

The pentagram eagle is one of the most recognisable images in metal, sitting somewhere between military insignia and full occult provocation, which is precisely where Slayer have always liked to operate. Reign in Blood came out in 1986 and nothing sounded the same afterwards. This tee isn't a nostalgia piece, it's a position statement. The kind of thing you wear to tell the room something about yourself before you've opened your mouth. Bay Area thrash has a long lineage, Testament, Exodus, Kreator, Sepultura, but there's only one band with this particular eagle.
