Reign in Blood came out in 1986 and people are still arguing about whether it's the greatest thrash metal record ever made. They're not wrong. Slayer built their whole existence on the idea that some music should feel genuinely dangerous, and four decades later the iconography still hits harder than most bands manage in an entire career. The Hellmitt design pulls from that same well, the kind of graphic that looks at home in a pit, on a tour bus, or at the back of a Frankston punk show at 11pm on a Tuesday.
