Sinister have been one of Dutch death metal's most consistent and least celebrated exports since the early nineties, the kind of band that serious collectors know about even if they never troubled the mainstream.

The Blood Past from 2009 is a deep cut in their catalogue, dense, brutal and exactly what you'd want from a band that has never once tried to make things comfortable. This particular copy is something else entirely, a limited edition digipak signed by the full 2025 lineup during their Australian tour, including vocalist Aad Kloosterwaard and guitarist Walter Bokito. That's a real piece of death metal history, not a reissue with a sticker on it. The signatures from the touring lineup give it a particular context, a document of the band still grinding decades in, still coming to the other side of the world, still worth the trip.
