Netherlands death metal has a certain weight to it. Pestilence, Asphyx, Sinister, bands that came out of the late eighties with tunings lower than sea level and zero interest in being approachable.

Sinister formed in Tilburg in 1988 and spent the nineties releasing some of the most punishing death metal Europe produced, records like Cross the Styx and Hate that still get cited whenever people argue about the genre's golden era. If your battle jacket is a document of taste, this patch is a solid entry. It signals the right things to the right people and absolutely nothing to everyone else, which is kind of the point.
