Volcano was the record that confused the purists and converted everyone else, a pivot toward groove-heavy dark rock that kept the menace but ditched the orthodoxy. Frost's drumming alone is worth the price of entry.

This is the limited edition 2LP clear vinyl pressing, gatefold, and it sounds exactly as cold and deliberate as it should. Clear wax at this age with the Volcano artwork spread across a gatefold sleeve is the kind of object that justifies having a record player in the first place.
