Sacred Reich were always the band doing more than the genre asked of them. Phoenix thrash with political teeth and a social conscience that made the pit feel like it meant something, and Ignorance and The American Way still hold up as proof that metal can have a brain without losing the weight.

The OD artwork is classic thrash iconography, the kind of image that earns real estate on a serious battle jacket. Sacred Reich never got the mainstream recognition that some of their Big Four contemporaries hoovered up, which makes repping them a legitimate statement of taste in the alternative and metal underground. This is a patch for people who dig past the surface, and whose vest reflects it.
