Japan has been quietly producing some of the most unhinged black/thrash metal on the planet since the mid-eighties, and Sabbat have been at the centre of that chaos longer than most bands have existed.

Not to be confused with the UK band (though both are valid), Japan's Sabbat are the real deal underground, decades of splits, demos, and full-lengths that circulate on tape among people who take this stuff seriously. If your jacket already has Abigail or Sarcofago on it, this patch was already inevitable. It belongs in the company of Venom worship and the whole raw, filthy lineage of black metal before it got art-directed to death. Eighty by sixty millimetres of proof you did your homework.
