ROTTING CHRIST Hellenic Black Metal Back Patch
Greece does not get nearly enough credit for its contribution to black metal. While Norway was burning things down in the early nineties, Sakis Tolis and his brother were quietly building something darker and more layered in Athens, and Rotting Christ have outlasted almost everyone who dismissed them.
The Hellenic black metal scene they helped define has its own distinct character, denser and more atmospheric than the Scandinavian template, soaked in ancient mythology and Mediterranean shadow. This back patch leans into exactly that identity. It is a flag for a corner of extreme metal that deserves more patches on more jackets, and putting it on yours means you actually did the listening. Respect.
Officially licensed woven sew-on back patch. Approximately 300mm wide x 365mm tall. Fans of Varathron, Necromantia, Septicflesh.
