Les Claypool once said Pork Soda was "a collection of weird little short stories." He wasn't wrong. It's also one of the strangest, most unclassifiable records to come out of the early nineties, a fever dream of slap bass, carnival punk, and lyrics that sound like Tom Waits got lost in a bayou and started a band.

Primus sit in a category entirely their own, too weird for metal, too heavy for alternative, too good to ignore. Pork Soda is the record that turned "Mr. Krinkle" and "My Name Is Mud" loose on the world, and the grunge kids and the metalheads both claimed it. This tee belongs in any alternative or dark aesthetic wardrobe that takes its music seriously.
