Denmark doesn't get nearly enough credit for its heavy music, and Phonomik are the kind of band that makes you wonder why you weren't paying closer attention. Brain Bleeder arrives with a concept heavy enough to anchor a theology debate, built around the story of one of the thieves crucified alongside Christ, exploring faith, doubt, and the mess of being human at the edge of something unknowable.

The genre tag reads heavy metal and progressive soul, which tells you this isn't a band interested in staying in one lane.
