Parental Advisory Poster 261
Two words that launched a thousand congressional hearings, a Tipper Gore meltdown, and arguably the most effective free advertising campaign in music history. The PMRC wanted to warn parents. What they actually did was guarantee that every kid in America, and eventually everywhere else, needed to hear exactly what was inside.
The Parental Advisory label became a badge of honour across hip hop, metal, punk, and grunge, a signal that something real and unfiltered lived on that record. This poster belongs on the wall of anyone who still believes music should make someone, somewhere, uncomfortable. Peak dark aesthetic, no explanation needed.
Maxi poster, 60cm wide x 90cm tall. Can be framed in a black matt wooden frame with professional MDF mounting, send us a message to organise.
