The Om Strygia Bat Necklace takes its name from the strygia, the screech owl of Roman mythology that shapeshifted into something darker in Slavic and Eastern European folklore, basically the original vampire before vampires had a PR team. It sits right in that space between horror jewellery and dark aesthetic everyday wear.
