Toronto's Odonis Odonis spent years playing confrontational noise-punk before pivoting hard into the machine, and Post Plague is where that transformation locked in. Released in 2016, it's the sound of a band shedding skin and emerging as something colder, darker, more industrial, built from corroded synths, motorik beats, and the kind of oppressive atmosphere that makes you check the room for exits.

If your record shelf holds Bauhaus next to Ministry and you think Combichrist and KMFDM belong in the same conversation as post-punk, this sits comfortably between all of them. It's got the grinding industrial pulse of a factory floor at 3am and the gothic undertow of something far older. Not background music.
