Before the world caught up to what was happening in Australian metal, Nothing Sacred were already doing it harder and faster than most. Deathwish, recorded in 1985, is a document of that era, power/thrash with the kind of teeth that only comes from somewhere that had nothing to prove to anyone overseas.

This is a 2015 picture disc repress of an EP that deserved a wider audience the first time around. Melbourne's alternative underground has always had a complicated relationship with its own heavy metal history, but records like this are why it matters. Nothing Sacred belong in the same conversation as Mortal Sin and the heavier end of the mid-eighties Aussie scene, and this repress gives you that history in a format worth owning.
