NORTHLANE Node Vinyl
Node was the record that made a lot of people stop sleeping on Northlane. Released in 2015, it was the Sydney five-piece's third album and the first with Marcus Bridge on vocals, and if you weren't paying attention before, this was the moment the Australian metal underground demanded you do.
The shift from Discoveries and Singularity into Node felt tectonic. Bridge brought a rawness that cut through the band's already dense prog-metalcore architecture, and tracks like Obelisk and Rot pulled the band into heavier, more industrial-tinged territory without losing the technical precision that made them a live force. This is the record that cemented Northlane as one of the most important heavy bands to come out of Australia, full stop.
Standard black vinyl pressing, UK edition. Plays at 33 RPM. Comes in standard sleeve.
