NIGHTWISH Owl Patch

Finland gave the world Nokia, sauna culture, and an almost unreasonable number of world-class metal bands. Nightwish built symphonic metal into something so operatic and enormous it basically became its own genre, and they did it out of Kitee, population not many.

The owl design sits in the more gothic, atmospheric corner of Nightwish's visual catalogue, which is saying something for a band that has put orchestras, choirs, and full film scores on their records. This one works equally well on a jacket alongside black metal patches as it does next to theatre kid energy, which is kind of the whole Nightwish deal. Floor Jansen-era fans and Tarja purists are both welcome here, no discourse required.
