Dutch symphonic power metal has a way of going for the throat, and Nightqueen have been quietly building toward exactly that since Rex Zeco started the whole thing as a side project that Massacre Records decided wasn't a side project at all.

By Seduction the band had found their stride, pairing full orchestral arrangements with the kind of driving, hook-heavy metal that sits comfortably in the same space as the genre's heavy hitters. It's big, dramatic, and completely committed, the sort of record that demands the volume be turned up rather than politely suggesting it. If you've been sleeping on European power metal's more theatrical edge, this is a solid entry point.
