MOTLEY CRUE Strip Patch

Before the behind-the-scenes documentaries and the biopic, there was just the logo, the pentagram, and four kids from the Hollywood strip who genuinely seemed like they might not survive the decade. They did, obviously, and the logo is still iconic.

The strip patch format is a vest builder's best friend, long and narrow enough to run along a collar, a cuff, or anchor the bottom of a back panel. Mötley Crüe sit comfortably alongside your Skid Row, your Twisted Sister, your Quiet Riot, the whole sleazy, leather-clad, hard rock canon that the mid-80s Sunset Strip produced before hair metal ate itself.
