The Mandy extreme logo patch is for the people who spotted the film's 1983 heavy metal aesthetic and recognised it as something real rather than pastiche. The ripped-from-a-black-metal-record-sleeve logo design is deliberate, Cosmatos and composer Jóhann Jóhannsson built a world where doom metal, dark fantasy, and chainsaw violence exist in the same nightmare frequency. This patch belongs on a battle jacket alongside your Leviathan back patch and your hand-painted denim, or wherever you see fit.
