"What a lovely day" is delivered with the specific unhinged joy of someone who has nothing left to lose and a war rig to prove it. Nux's arc from disposable War Boy to reluctant revolutionary in under two hours is better character writing than most trilogies manage. This image belongs in any space that respects practical effects, high-octane chaos, and the dark aesthetic of a world that burned itself down and kept going anyway. Very Australian. Very punk.
