2002 was a specific kind of chaotic, and Reanimation captured it perfectly. Linkin Park handed Hybrid Theory to a roster of producers and artists, including Pharrell, Alchemist, and Orgy's Jay Gordon, and got back something weirder and more interesting than a standard remix record had any right to be.

This isn't a cash-grab B-sides collection. It's a full-length reimagining that leaned harder into the industrial and hip-hop architecture already buried in the original, and for a lot of people it was the record that cracked open the door to more experimental rap-rock and nu metal crossover territory.
