Rob Halford came back to Judas Priest in 2003 and they've been making the case ever since that nobody else gets to be the Metal Gods.

Redeemer of Souls arrived in 2014 as Richie Faulkner's proper full-album debut after stepping into K.K. Downing's enormous boots, and the record is better for it. There's a directness here that some of the post-Painkiller albums lost chasing either radio or nostalgia. Halls of Valhalla is the kind of epic heavy metal track Priest built their reputation on, and Dragonaut opens the record like they have something to prove. It's not Screaming for Vengeance, nothing is, but it doesn't need to be. It holds its own in the catalogue and it's a solid entry point for anyone who wants to understand why Priest matter in ways that go beyond the leather-and-studs aesthetic they basically invented.
