JUDAS PRIEST British Steel Back Patch
British Steel came out in 1980 and the title track still sounds like it could strip paint. Judas Priest spent the seventies finding their footing and then delivered one of the defining records of heavy metal, razor blade cover art and all.
Back patches are a commitment and this one earns it. British Steel sits at the foundation of everything that came after, the album that gave the NWOBHM its commercial edge without losing the bite. Rob Halford in full leather daddy regalia, twin guitar attack from Tipton and Downing, and songs that were built to be played loud in car parks and youth clubs across the UK. The dark aesthetic of that era, all chrome and menace, belongs on the back of a jacket in 2025 as much as it did then.
Officially licensed large back patch. Sized for the centre back of a jacket or vest. Sew-on application.
