Adam Wakeman, keys and guitar for the actual Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne for years, has kept this wonderfully deadpan fiction running as Milton Keanes, and Volume 2 is exactly what it promises: Sabbath classics reworked as smoky, late-night jazz, played completely straight, which is what makes it genuinely funny and genuinely good. It's a concept album, a joke, a tribute record, and a solid piece of alternative music history all at once. Record Store Day exclusives don't always justify the queue, but this one does.
