IN FLAMES Spine Patch

Gothenburg in the mid-90s did something to metal that nobody has fully recovered from. In Flames took the brutality of death metal and ran it through a melodic sensibility that felt like it had no right to work, and then it absolutely did.

This woven patch features the scratched logo design, the kind of worn, corroded typography that fits the band's aesthetic perfectly, equal parts aggression and atmosphere. It belongs on a jacket that's already seen some things, next to your Dark Tranquillity patch, somewhere between the denim and the leather. Swedish melodic death metal deserves proper representation and this does the job.
