Designed and made by ALT CVLT right here in Australia, the Hale Hooded Top is a short sleeve tee with a contrast tartan panel and a hood, which sounds simple until you're wearing it and realise it solves the eternal Melbourne problem of a cold morning, a warm afternoon, and no desire to carry anything extra. There's a pocket. There's structure. There's a nod to the punk and grunge lineage of plaid as a fabric of refusal, worn by everyone from the Misfits to Hole to the kids outside the Espy in 1994. This is ALT CVLT's own work, and that matters.
