These genuine gudgeon specimens have been ethically sourced and processed using the diaphonisation technique, the same method used in scientific research, where soft tissue is cleared to near-transparency and bone is stained a deep, otherworldly red or blue. The result looks like something between a gothic curiosity cabinet find and a diagram from a biology textbook you'd actually want to own. Each specimen is unique, a real animal, real colour, real strangeness.
