Nimrod came out in 1997 and promptly confused everyone who had written Green Day off as a two-trick band after Dookie. Thirty-something tracks, a ska song, a banjo ballad, and somehow still absolutely a punk record.

The album art for Nimrod is one of the more recognisable pieces of late-nineties punk iconography, a clean, confrontational image that holds up better than most things from that era. This is the poster for people who remember buying this record and for people who discovered it later and are now insufferable about it, both groups welcome here. It belongs in the same wall space as your patch collection and your other grievances with the mainstream.
