Polish black metal in 1995 meant something specific, and Rob Darken knew exactly what he was doing. Graveland walked away from the rawer orthodoxy of Thousand Swords and leaned hard into the epic, pagan mythology that would define the project's second chapter, and Creed of Iron is where that vision locked in.

Released in 2000, this is slow-burning, grandiose black metal built around synths, war drums, and a sense of ancient Slavic dread that owes as much to Bathory's Hammerheart era as it does to the Polish underground. This edition is a limited A5 digipak, hand-numbered out of 200 copies, which means it's less a purchase and more an artefact. Epic black metal collectors already know the significance. If you're coming in new, this is the deep end.
