Gladiator Miniature Helmet

A face with no expression left in it. Spiked crown, blank eye slots, a nose guard that runs straight down into two teeth.

This is the arena helmet shape every heavy band has borrowed at some point, scaled down to sit on a shelf rather than a head. Polished bright so the light catches the crest ridge and the spikes, with a rosette boss at each temple and a leather chin strap left hanging the way it would be between bouts. It comes mounted on a turned wood stand, which means it works as a desk piece, a shop counter piece, or the thing on the mantel that visitors keep picking up.

Miniature display helmet with spiked crown, riveted crest, rosette temple bosses and leather chin strap. Supplied on a turned wood display stand. Display piece, not intended to be worn.
