This compilation covers their formative years, 2004 to 2009, capturing a Melbourne outfit who arrived at a particular moment in Australian alternative rock and made it theirs.

There's a reason names like Gyroscope, Birds of Tokyo and Kisschasy keep appearing in the same breath. That mid-to-late 2000s Australian alternative scene had a specific emotional frequency, anthemic, earnest, built for big rooms even when the rooms were still small.
