FINNTROLL patch

Finnish folk metal about trolls eating Christians, delivered with a polka bounce and genuine menace. Finntroll have always been their own weird thing, and that's exactly why they matter.

Since the late nineties, Finntroll have built a sound that shouldn't work but absolutely does, humppa rhythms dragged through black metal darkness, lyrics in Swedish about troll mythology, album art that belongs in some cursed Nordic storybook. They sit in a lineage alongside Moonsorrow, Trollfest, and early Korpiklaani, but nobody sounds quite like them. This patch belongs on the jacket of someone who knows the difference between Nattfödd and Midnattens Widunder and has feelings about it.
