Specimen #93 is a Shield Warrior, one of the faery realm's guardians, preserved mid-stance with the particular dignity of something that fought hard and fell harder. This is cabinet-of-curiosities dark aesthetic at its most committed, the kind of object that sits on a shelf and makes guests ask questions you enjoy answering. It belongs in the same visual world as Victorian oddity collections, gothic horror illustration, and the more unsettling end of dark fantasy art. Not a toy. Not a decoration exactly. A specimen.
