EXPLOITED, (The) Wall Flag
Wattie Buchan has been screaming at the establishment since 1979, and he hasn't softened a single syllable.
The Exploited came out of Edinburgh at a moment when punk was already being declared dead by the same music press that never understood it, and they responded by getting louder, faster, and considerably spikier, in every sense. Their crossover into thrash territory on records like Troops of Tomorrow and Punk's Not Dead made them a gateway band in the best possible way, something that could sit equally on a shelf between a Discharge record and an early Metallica tape. This licensed textile wall flag belongs in any space that takes its punk and alternative credentials seriously, Melbourne sharehouse or otherwise.
Licensed textile print. 75cm wide x 110cm tall.
