This German outfit sits somewhere in the sweet spot where seventies hard rock muscle meets punk rock directness and neither one blinks. The Great Damnation Stereo Parade has the amphetamine energy of early Hanoi Rocks and the bar-room swagger of something that should have been on a Sunset Strip bill in 1983 but is somehow more interesting than that. Loud, immediate, zero patience for subtlety. Right at home in the alternative and dark rock corners of the ALT CVLT shelves.
