1968. Europe is on fire, Morrison is on something, and The Doors are playing like they know it's already almost over.

This live compilation captures the band mid-European tour at a point when Jim Morrison's stage presence had become genuinely unpredictable and the rest of the band, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, John Densmore, were tight enough to hold it all together anyway. The psychedelic rock and dark poetry of this era sits closer to the gothic and alternative lineage than people give it credit for. Light My Fire was a hit, but The End was a séance. This DVD leans into that tension.
