Before crossover thrash had a name, D.R.I. were already living it. Dealing With It (1985) is the record where the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles stretched out from their 22-songs-in-18-minutes debut and started letting the metal in, without losing a single gram of aggression.

This is the transitional document. The moment hardcore and thrash shook hands in a practice room that definitely smelled terrible. Chuck Biscuits production, Matt Borrayo's drums hitting like a car crash, and Spike Cassidy's riffs pointing directly toward everything Municipal Waste and Power Trip would later build careers on.
