DEATH Scream Bloody Gore L/Sleeve
There is a strong argument that Scream Bloody Gore is the record that named an entire genre. Released in 1987, it was Chuck Schuldiner more or less inventing death metal on his own terms, and the world caught up later.
Death are one of those bands you can trace a direct line through to almost everything that followed, from Tampa to Stockholm to Melbourne basement shows. Scream Bloody Gore specifically is the raw beginning, before the progressive chord structures of Human or Individual Thought Patterns, when it was all riffs and speed and horror imagery that meant something. This long sleeve carries that original artwork and belongs in any serious collection sitting alongside your Obituary, Morbid Angel, and Cannibal Corpse. Schuldiner's legacy deserves more than a casual nod.
