Darkthrone spent the nineties defining what Norwegian black metal sounded like, and by 2006's The Cult Is Alive they'd pivoted hard into punk-infected rawness, basically daring people to keep up. The album cover art on this patch carries that same energy, bleak and unapologetic, the kind of thing you iron onto a battle jacket and let do the talking for you. If your denim vest isn't already a shrine to the underground, this is a solid place to start.
