Indianapolis doesn't get enough credit for birthing some of the most miserable, crushing doom metal of the 2000s. Coffinworm were doing their part to fix that.

When All Became None landed in 2010 on Profound Lore, and if you know that label, you already know what you're getting into. This is filthy, slow-burning doom-death that owes as much to sludge and black metal as it does to any one genre, dragging itself through six tracks of genuine dread. Think Eyehategod's wreckage filtered through a funeral doom lens, with enough grime under its fingernails to make Electric Wizard blush. The production is appropriately murky without losing the weight. This is not background music. This is music for staring at the ceiling at 3am wondering where it all went wrong.
