CLASH, (The) Caricature Patch

There are punk bands and then there is The Clash, who somehow made punk political without making it boring, and made it radio-friendly without making it soft. London Calling alone disqualifies them from any lazy genre debate.

This caricature patch leans into the irreverence that made the band impossible to ignore, the kind of art that belonged on a record sleeve or the back of a leather jacket in equal measure. Made in England under license, which feels appropriate for a band that never stopped being British even when they were absorbing reggae, rockabilly, and hip-hop into their DNA. A proper addition to any punk or alternative fashion collection.
