Celtic Ankh Necklace P132

The ankh was old when the pharaohs were young. Celtic knotwork was already ancient when the monks started illuminating manuscripts. Someone decided to put them together, and honestly, they were right.

This is an Alchemy Gothic England piece from 1993, which means it predates most of the people who will want to wear it. The zoomorphic knotwork wraps the ankh in interlocking animal forms that read as genuinely Druidic, the kind of dark aesthetic crossover between Egyptian death symbolism and Celtic earth religion that makes complete sense if you've ever gone deep on either.
