CARCASS Surgical Steel Patch

Before Carcass cleaned up their act and wrote actual melodies, they were neck-deep in medical textbooks, writing songs about necrosis over some of the most chaotic grindcore ever committed to tape. Surgical Steel was their 2013 comeback, and it was so good it made you forgive the entire nu-metal era on principle.

The Surgical Steel tools artwork is one of those designs that works perfectly on denim, works perfectly on a black hoodie, and will absolutely get you a knowing nod from the right people at the right gig. Carcass are a cornerstone of extreme metal history, the Liverpool surgeons who helped birth death metal and grindcore as we know it. This patch belongs on a battle jacket that means something.
