Thirty-five years ago, a Swedish doom quintet released an album so heavy and so slow it basically invented a genre. Leif Edling wrote the blueprint for funeral doom before funeral doom had a name, and Epicus Doomicus Metallicus has been dragging listeners into the abyss ever since.

This anniversary tee is for the doom faithful, the ones who know that sometimes metal needs to breathe, to grieve, to move at the pace of a glacier. Candlemass built a cathedral of riffs and Epicus is the foundation stone. Thirty-five years on and it still sounds like the end of something important.
