BURZUM Det Som Engang Var Patch

Before the convictions, before the church fires became headlines, there was the music. Det Som Engang Var remains one of the most desolate, hypnotic records black metal ever produced, and this patch carries that weight in 80 x 100mm of woven thread.

Varg's second full-length from 1993 is the one that sounds like standing alone in a Norwegian forest at 3am and being completely fine with it. Cold, droning, uncomfortably beautiful. This patch represents that era before the mythology overtook the art, and it belongs on a jacket that's seen some things.
