Brighter Death Now, the project of Roger Karmanik, is about annihilation as an aesthetic, and Greatest Death is exactly what the title promises: a compilation pulling from the most punishing corners of his catalogue up to 1998.

Death industrial at its most uncompromising. No concessions to listenability, no ambient softening of the edges. Karmanik built Cold Meat Industry into one of Scandinavia's defining underground labels while simultaneously making some of the most hostile recordings in the genre, and this sits at the centre of that legacy. If you're already deep into Deutsch Nepal or Propergol, this is required context. If you're new to the death industrial world, this is a genuinely difficult place to start, and that's probably the point.
