There are demos and then there are demos. Roman Acupuncture is the record that made the underground sit up straight in 2012 and start paying very close attention to two people from Zurich.

Bölzer arrived fully formed, which is either a miracle or evidence of something older and stranger at work. The black/death hybrid they laid down here doesn't sound like influence-shuffling, it sounds like genuinely new ground being scorched. If you know your Celtic Frost history you'll hear the Swiss lineage, but Bölzer were already somewhere else entirely. This MLP is the document of that arrival, and on wax it hits exactly as hard as it should.
