ARNOCORPS: Welcome To The Gym Vinyl 7"

ArnoCorps have built an entire mythology around one simple premise: what if Arnold Schwarzenegger's action movie characters were real Austrian folk heroes, and a hardcore punk band existed solely to document their exploits? It sounds like a bit, but twenty-plus years in, the San Francisco unit are completely committed, and that commitment is genuinely infectious.

"Welcome To The Gym" is exactly what you want from these guys, a battle cry wrapped in fast, aggressive punk that somehow makes you want to both start a pit and do a set of pull-ups. Their whole thing sits at this intersection of absurdist comedy and absolutely sincere hardcore, which is a tightrope almost nobody else has ever walked this well.
